Chell had never really seen an eleshift before, but she hadn’t expected them to talk quite… this much. Especially without a mouth. And while she didn’t know a lot about how their magic worked, she was pretty sure that they could… well, shapeshift. But Wheatley, as he called himself, seemed to stick to one form.
The (Un)Holy Castle was a terrifying, lonely place, and the overwhelming magic in the air was really getting to Chell. But even so, she wasn’t so sure she was grateful for the new companion. Yes, he was (supposedly) helping her, but after what the scorchtails did to her, she wasn’t going to put her trust in another species for a very, very long time. But Wheatley seemed helpful enough. A bit dimwitted, but… helpful. A bit.
Oddly enough, he didn’t seem to remember just how long he’d been there, or even where he’d come from. Judging by his foreign accent, probably somewhere far from here. But one thing was for sure–he was a prisoner just like her, and he wanted out of this place.

Keeping up with my weird AU, I decided to draw Wheatley. I… don’t think it turned out as well as the last one I did. Should’ve chosen something more colorful than a stone wall. Jaywings suggested that I put gels on the wall, and that helped a bit, but it’s still a bit dull. Ah well–what can you do?
