...MUR-E is not fixed, but I figured out a way to get my scanner to hook up to my laptop despite the fact that I lost the CD for it! WOOO!! I can scan stuff with good quality again! <3
...
Um, yes. This is indeed WALL-E as a dragon.
...WHAT? If people can draw robots as humans then people can draw robots as dragons too! Besides, I wanted to challenge myself with this. I've seen people draw WALL-E as a horse or dog or other animal, and it's always just a generic animal with WALL-E's colors. What's the fun in that, though? It's just a recolored animal!
To me, for an insert-critter-here-ization to be any good, you have to be able to look at it and say, "Oh! It's insert-character-here as a insert-critter-here" without seeing a title or description.
I've drawn humans as dragons before (some One Piece characters, in case you're wondering... maybe I'll upload the pic here later if anyone's interested), but drawing a robot as a dragon was... different. I figured the best route to go to keep the character recognizable would be to keep him a robot, but still look dragon-like. I... THINK I succeeded.
I was originally going to give him a mouth, but decided against it since that didn't seem very WALL-E-like. I did give him a muzzle, though, since a dragon would just look weird without one. I tried to make his neck look like the one the real bot has, but it just looked weird... so yeah. Arms were easy enough, but the back legs... weren't. I wanted to somehow make them still resemble treads without actually being treads. I'm... not sure how well those would work, though.
Ideally he should still be able to perform his directive and box up as normal... though I think maybe he'd be a rectangle more than a cube. Eheh. XD;
All right, enough rambling for BC, mur.
...I'm gonna try to make EVE, M-O, and Auto dragons at some point. Maybe.
I've considered doing it with some of my OCs but I'm not sure yet. (Though that reminds me, I've never drawn BC in her Demon Beast dragon form that she had for a very short while.)

I am kind of sick of humanizations (although I did them myself but I don't want to give adventures to them but I enjoy the other having adventures)
I can't wait to see the other dragons.
