So um, yeah, I start college again in a week or so, and since I've changed my major, I've got a lot of catching up to do. I want to graduate as soon as possible, so that means taking a CRAPLOAD OF CLASSES. There is a strong possibility that I may take 20 or so credits this semester.

So yeah, if I'm not online a whole lot, it's not 'cuz I'm dead--it's 'cuz I'm extremely busy. x_O

Hey d00dz, I have a question.

We all watch cartoons, right? So hopefully some of yuo d00dz would be able to help me with this, murhur.

As some of you know, I'm planning a cartoon series. Whether it ever sees the light or not, I don't know, but that won't stop me from working on the story.

There's something I've been thinking about... with a cartoon series, where do you start? I see some cartoon series that have a first ep that introduces characters, shows a bit of what the place the cartoon takes place in is like, and all that fun stuff. Others shows, though, don't have an "intro" episode--it just jumps right into the show, leaving the viewer to pick up on things themselves.

So here's my question: For my cartoon idea (that's the "Maggypie" project I'm working on--the cartoon about birds), which sort of "first episode" would be best? Should I make an intro episode, or jump right into the show?

UPDATE: MUR-E's 'net is up and running and I am currently posting this journal entry from him. WOOOOOO!!

As some of you know, I have two computers: MUR-E the desktop computer and BComputer the laptop. About a month or more ago, something happened to MUR-E. I'm not entirely sure what, but whatever the case, he would not turn on and I was not sure if his hard drive still worked.

Well, my mom got herself a new computer, and after moving all of her files from her old computer to it, she gave me her old computer. I replaced that computer's hard drive with MUR-E's hard drive, and, praise God, it WORKED. I HAVEN'T LOST ALL MY FILES WOOOO!

HOWEVER! Because MUR-E's hard drive is now in a totally new computer, he... doesn't really know what to do with the different hardware 'cuz I don't have all the drivers installed. Because of this, the volume's not really working, which kindof sucks. I also do not have internet on him as of yet, but we're working to fix that problem.

I can actually DRAW on MUR-E now, though! @___@ So that means I can finally finish my PMD2 pic and get to work on that character vacation project! :>

Before I get to work on that stuff, though, do I owe anyone artwork or anything else, mur? I can't remember.

Dude, folks don't NEED a "premium membership." I only have a subscription because THAT'S WHAT I WANTED. I don't NEED it, but it's nice. However, I got along fine all those years before without a subscription. Stop being money-grubbing morons, dA staff. -_O

Wonder when people'll realize that Rule 34 isn't a real rule that actually needs to be followed, and that it's not a real excuse for there to exist pr0n of everything.

Still don't know when MUR-E will be fixed. *sigh* My mom's in the process of moving all of her files from her old computer to a new one, but she says she's not done looking through her computer to make sure she's gotten everything. Once she's done doing that, though, I'm putting MUR-E's hard drive into that computer so hopefully it'll work, mur.

The dizziness got so bad Auto had to stop in place for a moment, and he groaned slightly. Yet again he was glad he wasn't human, because if he was he probably would've thrown up. Fighting the visions was apparently a bad idea, and with the second of lost focus it managed to catch him anyway.

The pilot was almost afraid to look up again, and when he finally did, he jolted backwards with a surprised warble. As opposed to Req-n, a great white shark now appeared to be leading him to the Axiom. He glanced at D-J, only to find what looked like an ancient record player in the music bot's place.

Okay, this wasn't so much scary as downright freaky, but it still managed to unnerve him.
